The Young Artists drawing course is designed to nurture young artists’ talent with training and practice based on the same Bargue drawing methods taught by the Masters! This course is designed for minors who enjoy art but don’t yet have the discipline to complete the multi-hour assignments of our regular Bargue drawing course independently.

1-hour classes with an NWSA drawing instructor are held every other week, allowing time for students to complete age-appropriate assignments in between. Progressive lessons drawing with the instructor are designed to improve drawing accuracy and create realistic drawings. Students are encouraged to complete the entire 1-year curriculum but may cancel at any time. Throughout the year students will learn tonal values, realistic shading, perspective, scale, proportion, line types and how to draw a variety of textures, landscapes, everyday objects, animals, people, and faces. This course also includes the 1-week Introduction to Drawing class lessons – so there is no need to sign up for two classes! However, if the student has already completed the 1-week Introduction class, please let our scheduler know below. Parents of students under the age of 8 are encouraged to assist their child during class.

Classes are $25/per class/per student.

Materials list includes an adjustable drawing board, graphite and charcoal pencil set, blending stumps, knead eraser, vinyl (hi-polymer) eraser, drawing paper, additional computer paper or sketch paper, triangle ruler, straight ruler, scissors, painter’s tape or masking tape, and lesson book.

Architectural modeling is probably the easiest of all 3d disciplines, so it is a good course for those who have absolutely no experience in 3d modeling and don’t want to deal with a steep learning curve right from the start.

Even if you want to generate a little side income or make it a full-time job, this course gives you enough 3d skills to produce respectable renderings.

Architectural Renderings are used to check the design and the esthetics of a building and the impact it has on the neighbourhood before any money is being spent on the build.

They are also a great help to get permits from the authorities.

Course duration: 6 months

$35.00 U.S. per full hour once a week.

Software used: Blender (free)

Time slots are available to accommodate Students from America and from Europe.
